The Quiet Land
“Life is very simple, often it is thoughts complicating life so why think so much.”
From the journal · July 12, 2011
These are the journals of one contemplative life — six of them, kept for years in separate places, now gathered into one quiet land. Nothing has been edited; the raw phrasing carries the transmission. Come in and walk as you please.

With Cassie, who began it — a watercolor memory.
Follow the road
Path to Oneness
It was always a road. It begins across the river in Kanowit and walks the long way home — start at the trailhead, or join it wherever it calls you.

In time, the road found the river.

Seeking nothing is everything.
Less is often more.
I do not need to seek what I already have.
What I do not have, I do not need to seek.
Seeking for love, for affirmation
From those who already love us.
Seeking God and God is there.

The river flows on.
